16 years of testing and development by the worlds learding memory researchers
Vladimir Kozarenko, the lead developer of the Giordano Memorization System and the RMI Course is a world celebrated memnotechnologist and an author of several leading books on memory improvement. He is a highly sought-after lecturer at top universities and private schools, and for many years he has been considered to be one of the "silent" leaders behind modern memory improvement.
The Russians have for many years been using training systems for mind enhancement that are light years ahead of us, with little known techniques that "Imprint" new knowledge directly into your brain.
This research took a quantum leap when Dr.Kozarenko and his team in Moscow began systematic research into the field of memory improvement and the brains memory mechanisms.

Reviewing every memory improvement technique known to man
Dr.Kozarenko and his team spent more than a decade researching both new and established memorization techniques. The analysis covered a full spectrum of the currently available mnemonic methods, memory techniques and teaching styles. Only the most efficient, compatible and scientifically proven techniques and methods were included, and all non-functional or inefficient techniques were discarded.
The old techniques that worked were improved, and groundbreaking discoveries were made. In total more than 100 new techniques and concepts, hundreds of new memory training exercises and a completely new model on how the brain encodes memories were developed.
Finally, everything was integrated into a system where any type of information can be memorized directly into the brain, stored in an organized manner, and retrieved whenever you need it.

"The most significant educational discovery of the century"
In 2006, after sixteen years of hard work, the innovative research by Dr. Kozarenko and his team was finally made available to the public as the RMI memorization course.
This is the first time we really know and understand both the history of memory techniques and the workings of the brain with regard to memory as revealed by modern science. These recent discoveries have effectively turned memorization into a serious, well understood and logical discipline.
The research and memory course development done by Dr. Kozarenko et al. has been referred to as "the most significant educational discovery of the century". Read on to discover how your memory really works...

How Your Memory Works |

How your memory really works
Maybe some of these common problems sound familiar to you.
 |
Does learning new information sometimes make you feel frustrated and drained? |
 |
Do you feel overwhelmed by what you need to learn to pass your exams? |
 |
Do you have a tendency to forget someones name 5 minutes after you were introduced? |
Many people believe that a good memory is something you are born with, and that little can be done to improve it. Nothing could be further from the truth. The brain has more potential than any supercomputer today, all you have to do is discover how to unleash it's full potential.
Imagine having a hard drive in your head, and you could write anything you read or hear directly into your memory.

How your brain handles memories
Certain areas of the brain are especially important in the formation and retention of memory:
- The hippocampus, a structure deep within your brain, plays a large role in processing new information as memory.
- The amygdala, an almond-shaped area near your hippocampus. It processes emotion and helps imprint memories that involve emotion.
- The cerebral cortex, the outer layer of the brain, stores most long-term memory in different zones, depending on what kind of processing the information involves.
Your cerebral cortex is naturally geared towards storing information processed through your senses, so consequently your brain quite easily remembers smells, sounds and visual images. This explains why the human brain is so terrible at memorizing everyday useful information such as facts, figures and textual information. There is no corresponding part of the brain that naturally can deal with this type of information.
The Visual Association Area and the Visual cortex holds an important role in improving your memory. Vision is your most important sensory imput, and your brain has accordingly reserved a very large area for processing, connecting and storage of visual information.

If you input a Stimulus, your brain will automatically find the memory link and output a Response. |
Connections, the secret key to your memory
A very little known fact is that when you are acessing your memory, you aren't really accessing the memories themselves. Instead you are acessing connections between your memories.
You can test this by thinking of any object or person.
Example: Think of an old friend you haven't seen in a few years. Instantly memory connections to this person will be available to you. Everything from episodes you shared together, where you first met, where your friend used to live and even down to the detail of how your friends appartment was furnished. For most people, many of these new linked memories will reveal further links to details and other episodes. Recalling this information happens effortlessly, because it'ss the natural way your brain works.
Contrast this to random or "floating" (non connected) data you've tried to memorize. Like a subject you studied, or when you were cramming before an exam. This information is not well connected, and much effort and repetition is needed to remember it. The worst part is that in the end you have no guarantee whatsoever that you will actually be able to remember it when it matters the most. Like when you did read something, but you're unable to access it during an exam or job interview.
The RMI system is based on the brains natural mechanims of memorization, and the most effective techniques to utilise these. By using the natural memory-mechanisms of your brain, accurate, efficient and controlled memorization can be achieved. It will give you a monumental advantage over your competition, everywhere from the classroom to the boardroom.

Memory Myths and Misconceptions
There are a lot of myths and misconceptions regarding how memory improvement works. Much or this stems from countless sources of misleading marketing that promises "fantastic results, by only reading a book for 5 minutes a day."
In reality, using your memory correctly and efficiently is a practical skill. It's not something you'll be able to do just by "knowing how it works", and this leads us to some interesting implications.
You cannot improve your memory by:
1. Reading a book on memory improvement.
2. Listening to memory improvement CDs or audio tapes.
3. Watching memory improvement videos.
4. Attending a seminar on memory improvement.
5. Taking memory improvement pills or medication.
The whole idea that you can improve your memory by using the above methods is as ridiculous as reading a fitness book hoping to magically build muscles and get into better physical shape.
Can anyone lose weight or become a bodybuilder just by reading a book about bodybuilders? Or by watching a video about the training equipment, nutritional supplements and workout techniques they use? Even if all the details are correct, you will come nowhere without putting them to practical use.
Memory, like muscular strength, is a “use it or lose it” proposition. The more you work out your brain, the better you’ll be able to process and remember information. Much like getting your body into shape, you can get your brain into shape. And like building muscle the only way improve how your memory works, is through practical training.
It’s as simple as that; there are no other ways. There are no magic pills and no shortcuts. If you have been told otherwise, it’s simply not the truth. Memory Improvement must always be based on practical training and mental workout.
The RMI course has 60 step-by-step practical lessons. Every single lesson is based on the latest teaching strategies, and you will be comforatbly eased into each new technique and type of information to be memorized at the appropriate time. From basic introduction and practice of techniques, all the way to full book memorization. During the entire course experienced memory improvement instructors are available to answer questions, correct mistakes and help you achieve results as quickly as possible.

A powerful memory requires a healthy brain and the right nutrition
The brain is the most metabolically active organ in the body and uses tremendous amounts of energy; it never rests, not even when you sleep. As a result, it has one of the highest rates of free radical production. These free radicals begin to destroy the structure of the brain, its neural connections and the cells. Unless you replace those damaged parts with nutrients, the brains function starts to rapidly decline.
Research indicates that certain nutrients nurture and stimulate brain function. For example Omega-3 fatty acids are replaced extremely rapidly. Omega-3 is a group of essential fatty acids, which generally cannot be synthesized by the body in adequate quantities. The 3 main forms of Omega-3 are ALA, EPA and DHA. Fats account for over 50% of the brain and Omega-3 DHA represents 30% of brain matter. If you are deficient in this nutrient your brain begins to change its structure very quickly and soon loses its ability to function properly because one of its vital components is missing. It takes only two weeks of deficiency to see a noticeable reduction in mental performance.
In only the last 20 years, sugar consumption in the U.S. has increased from 26 pounds (12 Kg) to 135 lbs. (61 Kg) of sugar per person per year! Sugar consumption dramatically increases free radical generation in the brain. It produces cross linking of the proteins in all cells which dramatically increases the damaging effect of these free radicals, making every cell in your body age much, much faster, particularly brain cells. In some extreme cases, it may even lead to permanent brain damage.
Research done at the University of Connecticut in 1986 by Dr. Jane Goldman showed that sugar, equal to one Coke, produces a significant decline in mental performance. (Students were making twice as many mistakes on tests.) Consumption of a lot of sugar also depletes Vitamin B-1. Lack of Vitamin B-1 in the diet has been linked with memory failure and depression.
Vitamins C, D, E, K, A, B and carotenoids are all associated with brain function.
A study of 260 adults over the age of 60 found links between vitamins C, B-2, B-12, B-9 and concept learning.
Studies found that animal fat impairs ability to learn and remember, but healthy fats, such as Omega-3, improve depression, memory retention and thinking. This is because the brain uses an enormous amount of fatty acids for its membranes.
Aspartame, MSG, pesticides, and herbicides in food; aluminum in deodorants; fluoride in the water; and mercury in vaccines play a major role in brain toxicity and brain function decline. Excessive toxicity destroys brain cells.
The point we are trying to get across is that it is almost impossible to get any significant and serious memory improvement when you don’t know what fundamental nutrients your memory and brain needs and how these nutrients are related to overall health. Memory Training without this knowledge will be more difficult and without question lead to inferior results.
We'll teach you the pitfalls, and give you some sound nutritional advice. Eating right won't only improve the way your brain functions, but will also positively affect energy levels and overall health. |

Demonstration Video |
 |
|
Here's a demonstration video of effects of the RMI Memory Improvement Course. The video is a little on the long side (12 minutes), but if you are interested in what kind of results you can expect from the course, it will give you a small preview.
- In the first part of the video our assistant Zachary is reading the information out loud, and our head instructor Ruslan memorizes it in real time. Using the very same techniques as taught in the RMI Course, all the information is stored directly into his memory as soon as it is read out loud. In the second part of the video Ruslan puts on a blindfold and recalls all the information in the exact same order.
- A feat like this would literally be impossible for anyone who have not completed the course. It may look like nothing special is happening, other than Ruslan seems to be a focused listener, but inside his head a lot of mental processes and different memorization techniques are used to effectively store away the information. The step-by-step training in the course ensures that this process is now highly automatic and very little effort is required.
- Even most Official Memory Champions and Guinness Book of Records holders would never be able to do this, because they usually limit their training to very narrow and specific subjects such as memorizing random numbers, binaries and playing cards.

"It really does what it says on the tin." |
"After an epic journey of almost thirty years I believe I’ve finally found my Golden Fleece, my Holy Grail, my Phenomenal Memory.
Along the way I’ve tried them all (well nearly); from Dr. Bruno Fursts’ Course in Memory and Concentration way back in 1979 to Buzan, Lorraine, O’Brien et al.
There was a brief fling with Learning Strategies and their Paraliminal CD’s. Then came Vera F. Birkenbihl with her Memorization Optimizer quickly followed by somebody else’s “memory secrets” and some geezer in Holland telling me that if I wanted to remember anything I had to learn it verbatim - thanks for that fellah!
I’ve tried Memletics, self-hypnosis, hypnosis MP3’s, Binaural Beats, flashing lights, subliminal messages on my PC… and so it goes, on and on ad nauseam. One by one each course failed me, yet according to them I failed the courses because I lacked commitment. All I know is, thanks to you, I’ve had more success with my memory in the past three months than over the past thirty years with all the “memory experts” mentioned above put together.
Yes the course is intensive, but importantly it is extensive and structured. When you are ready to move on to the next stage it guides you, the transition is seamless. And that’s what makes the difference between your course and anything else on the market today. It really does what it says on the tin.
B lucky, Mike"
